Peña Boulevard Bridges

Denver, Colorado

Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness was responsible for designing two bridges at Denver International Airport. The project was designed and constructed using a CMGC process, with TSH as a subconsultant to Jviation. One of the bridges carries Peña Boulevard outbound from the terminal and the other carries a service road that is being used to construct the new South Terminal and RTD rail station. The CMGC method allowed the bridges to be designed and constructed under a highly accelerated schedule to get the bridges open in time for the South Terminal’s construction to begin.
