Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness provided redesign of the southbound Santa Fe to Eastbound C-470 flyover structure under the alternative bridge design special provision.  The alternative structure type developed and designed by TSH allowed the contractor to bid the project $1.0M below the engineer's estimate.  The flyover includes a 1,700 foot post-tensioned span over Santa Fe, C470, BNSF and UP railways.  TSH also provided revised detour designs to accommodate the revised structure construction.
