Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness worked directly with the contractor to develop a quality management plan for all aspects of QA/QC on this $42 million design-build project. TSH provided complete on-site quality management and quality assurance observation of this work. Our quality manager was in direct charge of all QA observation and material testing as required to provide final acceptance of the facility. This included providing oversight of the QC inspection and testing provided by the contractor’s forces. This effort resulted in the delivery of a complete set of project records documenting that the facility was constructed in general conformance of the plans and specifications an meeting the intent of the design. In turn, Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness provided the books and final acceptance to the satisfaction of both the Colorado Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration.
