Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness is providing complete design consultant services and construction Quality Assurance for US 285 Design-Build project between Kipling Street and Federal Boulevard. TSH is the prime design consultant for the reconstruction of 5 miles of US 285. Traffic engineering work includes a traffic study for operations in the corridor, design for replacement signals and one temporary signal, and all signing and striping design including overhead freeway signing. The project includes management of design subconsultants (survey, drainage, geotech) as well as all design services for roadway design and traffic engineering. TSH worked closely with the contractor to develop construction phasing design and TSH is providing all construction traffic control plans and reviews of MHTs. The construction services include complete construction Quality Assurance and complete construction observation services.
