Tsiouvaras Simmons Holderness provided alternative designs for the southbound I-25 bridge and the off ramp bridge over the Purgatoire River. TSH personnel also provided the Hydraulic Analysis and Scour Analysis for the bridges over the Purgatoire River located near the City of Trinidad for Lawrence Construction. The Bridges included one bridge for the northbound lanes of I-25, one for the southbound lanes of I-25 and two bridges for the on/off ramps. The existing hydraulic model from FEMA was converted from the HEC-2 model to a HEC-RAS model and analyzed, which determined that the alternative bridges proposed by TSH were adequately sized. A Scour Analysis was conducted to determine the scour depths for the abutments and piers of the bridge. Bridge Hydraulics Sheets were developed to convey the information to the bridge engineers and reviewing agencies. STATUS: Completed in 2010
